The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK (NMCF) is a registered charity in the UK whose main purpose is to fundraise for and publicise the work of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund in South Africa. One of Nelson Mandela's first actions on becoming President of the newly democratic South Africa in 1994 was to establish the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund. He committed one third of his Presidential salary for five years to ensure the continuation of the Fund- as his charitable legacy for children.
After considerable evaluation NMCF selected CommittedGiving.uk.net to partner with in putting in place and hosting fully customised and tailored online fundraising pages designed by the specialist web design agency Totally Communications Ltd. This service allows supporters to donate and setup a Direct Debit in a secure and easy to use environment. As usual a comprehensive suite of back office processes and applications provides NMCF with all the tools they need in order to manage the ongoing day to day operations and Direct Debit administration.
CommittedGiving.uk.net worked closely with NMCF from initial enquiry through to go live, providing support and assistance with the inevitable paperwork, bureaucracy and system integration associated with setting up and implementing such a service. The
