NCPC links online payments into SAGE

Online transactions are automatically posted to the SAGE accounting system
The National Council for Palliative Care (NCPC) is the umbrella organisation for all those who are involved in providing, commissioning and using palliative care and hospice services in England, Wales & Northern Ireland.
They provide a range of services to their subscribers via their website, including, online subscription and renewal, online donations and purchase of publications. All of these payment services, and the associated administration, are powered by CommittedGiving.uk.net. Direct Debit, credit and debit cards and cash or cheque transactions are catered for.
Until now all these financial transactions have had to be added into the NCPC SAGE accounting application manually, a potentially cumbersome and error prone process. Following some extensive evaluation and testing we have now implemented a process so that transactions are automatically posted directly into the relevant SAGE nominal account, saving time and effort and ensuring a much greater degree of accuracy.
