Teacher Support Network is a group of independent charities and a social enterprise in the United Kingdom and the United States. They provide practical and emotional support to staff in the education sector and their families. The aim is to help teachers and their families regardless of age, length of service or union affiliations to improve wellbeing, quality of life and career effectiveness.
Their services are open to trainees, newly qualified teachers, serving teachers, headteachers, staff in the adult, further and higher education sectors and retired professionals. Specific areas of expertise include finance, housing, care issues, health, wellbeing at work and career development.
They rely on charitable donations to support their aims. The online services that CommittedGiving.uk.net have implemented provides both single credit or debit cards donations or regular giving by direct debit. All completely customised to reflect the look and feel of their website. Potential supporters can also specify exactly where their gift should go: to either the English and Scottish or Welsh sectors or to the College and University Support arm (known as Recourse)
