Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a Government run scheme that allows the BFI and any other charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) to reclaim the tax on any donations. If you are a UK taxpayer, for every £1 you donate, we get up to 25p (subject to current tax rates) back from the Government. All of your donation is eligible for Gift Aid.

I am a UK taxpayer and would like the BFI to reclaim the tax on any qualifying donations paid in the past four years and from the date of this declaration until further notice. I confirm that I pay an amount of UK income and/or capital gains tax that is at least equal to any tax the BFI reclaim for the appropriate tax year.
I am not a UK taxpayer.

If you pay income tax at the higher rate, you must include all your Gift Aid details on your Self Assessment Tax Return to receive the additional tax relief due to you. You can cancel this declaration at any time. Please notify us if you change your address or if you cease to pay sufficient income tax and/or capital gains tax.

Alfred Hitchcock: pioneer, legend and master of suspense.

Alfred Hitchcock made ten silent films. Nine of them survive. The BFI needs £2 million to achieve its ambition to restore, preserve and present them to the nation in 2012, with brand new musical scores.
