£20 could start a young wheelchair user on the journey to independence through our Wheelchair Skills Training. Through games and fun activities they will learn vital skills and confidence to use their wheelchair safely.
£45 could give a young wheelchair user an introduction to their local Whizz-Kidz Club. Our Clubs offer an empowering environment for young people to explore their potential and build confidence whilst having fun and making new friends.
£100 could fund a Whizz-Kidz therapist for half a day, enough time for a child to have their final fitting and to take receipt of their new powered chair.
£5 a month could allow a young wheelchair user to take part in a high energy workshop at their local Whizz-Kidz Club. From sports, performing arts to virtual reality gaming, your donation could give them the chance to try something new, develop fresh skills and have fun.
£7.50 a month could allow one of our expert Whizz-Kidz Therapists to carry out an initial phone assessment with a family looking for a wheelchair from Whizz-Kidz. This assessment allows us to really get to know the young person, explore the family’s lifestyle and provide equipment specifically tailored to the young person’s needs.
£10 a month could extend the life of a young person’s wheelchair by paying for an Equipment Review Assessment , helping to modify the chair as the child grows or their needs change, including any additional wheelchair parts needed.
